Sunday - Took care of pups again and the met mom, dad, and Chase in Avondale for brunch. We were going to eat at the Foxx, but it’s tiny, so we chose the Brick. Food was awesome and everyone was pleasant. Said goodbye to everyone and headed to Garv’s to survey the damage. Got them up and out of the house to hit up 5points, but they had to go pick up Plamber from the airport so we went home for awhile. Headed back to Garv’s for beers and an epic discussion on how much a piece of shit Lil’ Wayne is. Home for some endoftheweekendsexytime. Nuff said. On to the work week.
Monday - WORK FUCKING SUCKED. Sat and baby sat the Xerox for over 2 hours to print 60 pages. Getting a little burnt out on QI. Time to look for greener pastures, if ya get my drift?? Left a bit late and got home to awesome cookies being made. Cleaned a bit and checked out some shit to do this month. Might go to the haunted house in town this year, since we’re not going to HHN again. Made dank Mac’n’Cheese and grubbed on some cookies. A little bluffin’ with my muffin and then I sat on the internet for awhile. Cleaned up my site a bit and made an OccupyWallStreet poster. Gotta catch up on my German! I’ve been slacking hxc. Until tomorrow!
Tuesday - iWay is fucked, so my day was as well, fucked. Got home to little one making some really cool scarfs from my old shits. We made up our grocery list, hit up ATT to check the price to adopt Garv, stopped by Target to use coupons, and got food for the week at Publix. Made pasta, watched TV, and worked on my German and deisng stuff. L is doing crazy curly stuff with her hair so we’ll see how it goes in the morning (she’s supoosed to sleep on it). I’m gunna sleep on it as well, but not a hairdo.
Wednesday - Got up early to cook buffalo chicken in the crock pot. Went to Art walk which was nuts. Latin Night, so there was a ton of music and it was the most packed I’ve seen downtown for an Art Walk. Sq one afterwards to get our dance on. Garv brough an annoying girl, which is whatever I guess. Chase and hannah came out the the bar since its 18+. Awkward at first but they had a good time I think. Got punched in the back of the head “on accident” so I got in a small “accidental fight” and got kicked out. Fair enough if they want to piss away their bartenders’ tips. Ate some Sweet Pete’s and called it a night.
Thursday - Spent a good portion of my day pulling jammed paper out of the xerox. That thing is such a piece of shit. Watched and read a bunch of stuff on Steve Jobs, since he died last night. Even being a hxc PC person I still greatly respect that guy. Really changed the way the world interacted with each other, and was a big proponent of good design. Designed a pretty solid protest poster to #OWS march on Saturday, even though I don’t think I’ll be marching. Worked on mah German, watched a bunch of TV, made steak and salad for dinnrah, had a laaaaazy evening.
Friday - Didn’t really do a whole lot at work. Fixed a bunch of shit that got broken during the iWay fuckup. Trying to get on board with landing some freelance clients, so I worked on my personal website some of the day. Sat around at home for a bit since we were supposed to eat with Rach and company for her bday. Got to BJ’s Brewhouse and it was slammed worse than a whore in Vegas. Actually lef the restaurant, drove to Arby’s and got dinner, came back and drank at the bar. Classy stuff! Went to Wild Wings after to lower the price a bit, which is still a meh bar with even more meh people. Got home to bang it out and neither of us even remember falling alseep….good night for sure.
Saturday - L went for her last round of Docent Training early. I met Chase at UNF for some more soccer. I really enjoy getting out and playing like that. No pressure but still some good competition. Home to have Chase try one of the beer we brewed; he wasn’t impressed, which is what I figured. Hopped in the shower to head downtown to the OccupyJacksonville protest, but mainly for the Maplethorpe movie “Dirty Pictures”. It was really good and brought up a bunch of questions I’d like to discuss with the gang. Went home and made dinner and then headed BACK downtown to see the Jax Symphony Orchestra. Really nice show and our tickets were insane. Didn’t feel like going to Burro Bar dressed as we were so we ame home and crashed out. Little one was running on empty and I’m sore from Futball in the AM.
